Patsey Irene Pike Nelson, age 81, of DeWitt, Arkansas passed from this life on April 5, 2024. She was born on May 11, 1942 to her parents, Everett and Hazel Irene Pike.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Nelson; two sisters, Amelia Eddlemon (Nelson), Betty Dike (Russell); one brother, Donald Pike; and two sons, Kenny and Keith Edwards.
Patsey is survived by one daughter, Melissa Campbell of Fayetteville, TN; one brother William Pike of DeWitt; one sister-in-law Marsha Pike of DeWitt; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a host of other family and friends; and a special friend Eddie Williams.
One of Patsey’s greatest joys was working with flowers, whether it was making arrangements or digging in the dirt. She was also free hearted and enjoyed the gift of giving.
She was a member of McAdams Rd Church in DeWitt.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 12:00-2:00pm with the funeral service starting at 2:00pm at McAdams Rd Church; 701 McAdams Rd, DeWitt, Arkansas. Interment to follow at Forks LaGrue Cemetery in DeWitt.
