Stacey Wakefield, 44, passed away April 10, 2024 at Springhill Baptist in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in West Monroe, Louisiana on April 15, 1979 and was living in Lonoke County, Arkansas.
She spent most of her years as a stay-at-home mother, and her last years a loving grandmother to her grandchildren; something she loved more than anything to do. She enjoyed being outdoors with her family and the little things life brought her. She lived a full and vibrant life and touched many lives with her time here on earth. If you knew her, then you knew so much more could be said about her. In fact, the list is probably never ending. She was so loved and will be deeply missed by so many.
She is survived by her four children Britney Stroud and spouse Randy Turner, Madison Rash and spouse Steven Carrell, Tyler Rash, and Harley Rash; her six grandchildren Marisa Stroud, McKenzie Stroud, Mia Stroud and Maci Stroud, Maddox Turner, and Tristan Wakefield; her parents Billy Thrasher, Pattie Thrasher and Patricia Richardson; her sisters Jennifer Counts, April Thrasher, Lisa Thrasher and BillieAnn Thrasher; a very dear friend Ricky Wakefield Sr; and her spouse Dennis Whitsett.
She is preceded in death by her brother Olen Thrasher, Grandmother Virgie Burgess, Grandmother Jessie Taylor, Grandfather Bobby Richardson and Grandfather Aron Taylor.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 9:00am with graveside service starting at 10:00am at Old Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Arkansas.
