Cecil A. “Ray” Yielding Jr, age 81

Cecil A. “Ray” Yielding Jr, age 81, of Ward, Arkansas passed away on May 8, 2024. He was born in Ward, Arkansas on December 8, 1942 to parents Cecil Aray Yielding Sr. and Mildred (Smith) Yielding.

Ray was a very loving husband and father. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ward, Arkansas. Ray was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Mildred Yielding Sr. and his sister Francis Liles.

He is survived by his wife Dottie Yielding; his children Jimmy, Lesa, Carla, Steve, Melanie, Gena, Duane, Chris, and Mike; two brothers Ricky and Alan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.

    Ray-man, Judy, Bobbie and I will miss you. We already miss your smiles, your laughter, your humor and (especially Judy) your breakfasts on the grill. You made us feel so welcome and gave us so much joy! It was an honor and pleasure knowing and loving you.
