Chester Loyd Gosnell, age 39

Chester Loyd Gosnell, age 39, of Searcy (formally Newport) passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at his home in Searcy.

Chester was born on November 7, 1984 in Newport Arkansas to Linda and Jan Gosnell. Chester graduated Newport High School in 2004 where he was active in band and various other activities. Chester spent most of his time at work, or at home with his dad and his dog, Pepper. He enjoyed camping, relaxing at home playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with his sister and nephew. Chester’s goal in life was to put a smile on his loved ones faces, and protect his sister and nephew. To know Chester was to love Chester. Long live his smile, the memories, and the impact that he left on everyone around him. (L.D.S)

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Linda Gosnell, grandparents, Rachel and Clint Foust and Lucille and Frank Gosnell. He is survived by his father, Jan Gosnell, of Searcy, one sister, Mandie Halfacre, and nephew, Grayson Pyle, of Newport, one half-sister, two nephews, Cayden Burgess of Searcy and Jacob Burgess of Bradford one uncle, Wayne (Sharon) Gosnell, of Fort Smith as well as many other friends and family.

Funeral services will not be held at this time, but a celebration of life will be held by his sister at a later date. Any monetary donations can be sent to his sister and will go towards the celebration of life and other expenses for Chester.
