David O’ Neal Shadrick, “Pops” age 78

David O’ Neal Shadrick, “Pops” age 78, of McRae, AR passed away at his home on Tuesday April 30, 2024. He was born January 30, 1946 in Beebe, AR to the late David and Connie Shadrick.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce. 4 children: Greg Shadrick (Cindy) of Little Rock, Michele Holt (Bill) of Jacksonville, Angela Garner (Dave) of Rich Hill, MO, James Shadrick (Erika) of McRae. 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. And one sister Brenda Knoedl (Tommy) of Hot Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents David and Connie Shadrick, one sister, Joyce Knoedl.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and working on lawn mowers and small engines.

A family-hosted memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 11:00am at Life Tabernacle Church at 23903 AR-107, Jacksonville, AR 72076. Service will be officiated by Bro. Clyde Phillips.

We would like to give a special thanks to his Hospice Nurse Brandie Cleveland who went above and beyond taking care of Dad, “Pops”.

    I am sorry for your loss and will pray for the family. I had the privilege of working with Neal for many years at Conestoga. He was a great man and I always respected his opinion. He will be missed.
