Effie Pearl Flake (Kelley), age 84

Effie Pearl Flake (Kelley), 84, of Bald Knob, Arkansas passed away on May 7, 2024. She was born on November 25, 1939 in Des Arc, Arkansas.

Effie was known for her loving, caring nature and her dedication and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her children Clifton Burgess of Marianna, AR; Vera Cluck (Jason) of Shreveport, LA; Stacy Bennett of Bald Knob, AR; Sharon Flake of West Helena, AR. Effie also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Effie was preceded in death by her father, Frances Lee Kelley; mother, Louella Kelley-Mathis; daughter, Marcia Fay Sweatt; brothers Newell Kelley, Albert Kelley, Eugene (Gene) Kelley, James (Boss) Kelley; and sister, Naomi Kelley.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Effie’s life will be conducted by Rev. Audie Richardson at New Beginnings Church, 554 S 7^th Street, West Helena, AR 72390.
