Joyce Diane Brooks, age 77

Joyce Diane Brooks, of Sherwood, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2024. She was born in Roland, Arkansas, to Ferrell Griggs and Gracie Hoyle on August 10, 1946.

Joyce enjoyed arranging flowers, listening to music, writing poetry, and collecting knick knacks. She spent her time reading the bible and watching Christian movies. Joyce loved a bargain, but most importantly she loved her grandbabies.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Earl “Tony” Anthony, parents Ferrell Griggs and Gracie Hoyle, and her sister Kathleen Blair.

Joyce leaves behind her children Angela Baxter, Greg Williams, Brent Williams (Amanda), Daniel Williams, and Larry Brooks; grandchildren James Baxter, John Baxter, Chase Williams, Hunter Williams, Brianna Hayes, Danielle Williams, Annabella Williams, Layla Williams, Hadley Williams, Larry Brooks JR, and Dalton Brooks; great grandchildren JJ Baxter, Andy Baxter, Jake Baxter, Harper Hayes, Eli Williams, and Emmit Williams; siblings Skipper Griggs, Deborah Turner, Charlene Raynor; as well as extended family and friends.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. with a funeral service to follow at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The burial will be immediately after at Serenity Gardens in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
