Remaining to cherish Marshall’s memory are his children, Joshua Swint of Rosebud, Arkansas and Jodi Swint of Lonoke, Arkansas; grandson’s, Dustin Swint, Tallon Swint & Kamryn Blackard; siblings, Rickey & Kim Swint; Lola & Crystal Swint and Felecia Swint; niece Audrey Sheets and nephews, Bill Swint, Jacob Bennett, Patrick Swint, Jessie Swint & Colton Swint; 4 great-nieces’; 9 great-nephews, and many, many cousins and friends.

After Marshall graduated from Lonoke High School in 1972, He went to work at McCrary’s Farm Service. He then held down a job with a construction company before he retired from Lonoke County Highway Department.

Marshall loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, watching race cars and driving big trucks.  He was a man of few words but when he spoke you listened and he gave hugs that solved all the world’s problems. He was our big teddy bear and always had a safety pin ready for duty. There was never a time he did not show and voice his love for his kids and grandsons’.

Family-hosted memorial services will be held Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 AM with Visitation at 10:00 AM at Brownsville Baptist Church, 44 Watson Lane, Lonoke, Arkansas with Bro. Bob Courson and Bro. Woody Evans officiating.

Not exactly what we had planned, my, dear friend. I hope you knew just how very special you were. There will always be a place in my heart for that twinkle in your eyes. You were an awesome friend and the greatest of dad’s. You raised and loved two wonderful kids, so I know, your legacy and memory will live on. Luv and prayers, now rest.

I am sorry to hear of Marshall’s passing. We were 1972 graduates of Lonoke and had our class reunion in 2022. And yes he was a man of few words with a kind and sweet spirit. RIP fellow classmate.
