Tammy Guidry (George), 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024, surrounded by her children and family. Tammy is preceded in death by her parents Mary (Betty) Brasseaux, Father Robert George, brother Robert (Butch) George II, brother-in-law Gregory Aymond, and ex-husband Brian Guidry. She is survived by her kids Brian (Mikey) Guidry II, Chantal Leblanc(Doug), Maghone’ Kramer (Jared), and Juliann Hall (Mitchell). Her grandkids: Ethan, Dillan, Landon, Bailey, Peyton, Acadiah, Cooper, Skylar, Ansleigh, Peyton H., Raegan, Avie, Ivy Rose, Dakota, Addilynn and Sadie Grace. Her sisters Leshia (Faye) Matherne (Jimmy), Carla Champagne (Danny), and Melissa Aymond, as well as many nieces, nephews and her God Children Renee Bellard, and Felicia Caffey.
Tammy was known and loved by many. She had a difficult life and drifted from her family for a while but found her way back where she found forgiveness and love. She was a very hard worker, and worked multiple jobs until she could no longer due to her medical conditions. She loved music, loved to dance and loved God. One of her favorite songs was Teddy Bear Song by Tanya Tucker. She would sing it to her grandkids when they would visit. Her love for her kids and grandkids was known. She would brag about them to anyone that would listen.
Her life was short lived, and she will be missed. She is now dancing in the sky with her mom and Dad, no longer in pain, no longer constrained by her limitations, forgiven, and able to be at peace. We will miss you Moma, rest easy.
