Danny “Bo” Williams Jr. departed this world on June 9th, 2024 at the age of 46, in Lonoke Arkansas. Bo was born on May 13, 1978 to Darlene Newberry and Danny Williams, Sr. in Little Rock Arkansas.
Bo was raised to love a simple, country life and he dedicated himself to it. He was a jack of all trades and he excelled in working with his hands. He was willing to learn anything from welding or woodworking to construction and HVAC. At his time of passing, he was employed by Edward’s Metals Inc. where he enjoyed his work as a journeyman and had many friends among his coworkers.
Bo was preceded in death by his stepfather Gene Goodnight, grandfather E. L. (Snooky) Williams, grandmother Thelma Davis, and cousin Jason Davis.
He is survived by fiancée Rebecca Dodge, children Danny Lavon Williams III, Darla Cain (Noah) and Brianna Edwards, grandson Kaison Cain, mother Darlene Newberry (Darrell), father Danny Williams, Sr. (Charlene), sister Laura Addie (Glen), brother Justin Williams (Chasity), and many extended family members who loved him dearly.
Bo was a man who prided himself on his work and knew that his greatest work would be his family. He cherished spending time with his children and loved to cook dinner for them no matter the occasion. He desired nothing more than for his children and grandchildren to be happy and healthy.
To know Bo was to know laughter. If he wasn’t making the room laugh with a joke, they were laughing because his laugh was so contagious. If there was any word used to describe him, it would be alive. But Bo didn’t only know how to laugh, in the serious times, he was a rock to lean on and an encourager.
The world has lost an echoing laugh and a man that put his all into loving the people around him. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. Burial will follow at Keo Cemetery.
Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com
