Edythe Marlynn “Lynn” Barfield Bland (February 24, 1940-June 10, 2024) was born in a small house in Okolona, Arkansas and lived most of her life in North Little Rock. She was a devoted daughter, mother, Granny, sister, and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Marie (Osborn) Barfield, and a great granddaughter. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Connie Adams, Denise (Michael) Davis, and Gale (George) Demick; 6 grandchildren, Stacy, Mistie, Cindy, Sheena, Taylor, and Carson; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren with another on the way; her brother, Neil (Sheila) Barfield, and her nephew, Haco.
She loved crafts, crocheting, puzzles, games, being with her family, and making gifts and cards for loved ones. She was a special woman. She was a Christian who loved Gospel music and attending Davidson camp meeting every year. Her strength, independence, determination, perseverance, and servant’s heart were an inspiration to her family and friends. She was well loved and will be missed.
A visitation will be held to honor Edythe on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 12:30pm with the funeral service starting at 1:30pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood, Arkansas.

Lynn was a beautiful lady that loved her family. She will be missed by all!
