Wilma Faye Cummings (Fulmer), 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 3, 2024.
Wilma was born July 2, 1945, to the late Herman Fulmer and Ida Mae Starbuck.
Wilma is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Cummings, parents Herman Fulmer and Ida Mae Starbuck, brothers Jimmy, Billy, Kenneth, and Charles Fulmer, and sister Sandra Perrymore.
Wilma is survived by sons Terrell (Kerri) Alland and Michael (Tonya) Alland, daughters Sheila (Bart) Cummings, Angela (Kel) Nicholson, Tanya (Stephen) Ray, Ariel and Ashley Cummings, and Candice (Timothy) Crawford, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a brother Frankie (Reta) Fulmer, and sisters Linda Sue Cromer, Gloria Dempsey, Carolyn Zapata and a host of other extended family and friends.
Wilma was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing gospel music on the piano, which made her feel closer to God, as well as other musical instruments. Wilma used her talent to bring joy to others and to spread the gospel. Wilma was also talented in other areas such as sewing, crafting and writing songs and poems, with publication of some of her writings. There was nothing she wouldn’t try to make. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends who she loved dearly. Other hobby’s included fishing, bingo, and cooking, with many gatherings to eat supper at Mema’s (Wilma) house. Wilma was happiest when she was surrounded by family.
Wilma left a legacy, making a huge impact on many people. One of the things she prayed most was that everyone has a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and to be good to one another. A favorite verse of Wilma’s was John 3:16.
Wilma will be forever missed, and wouldn’t want anyone to mourn or cry, but to be happy that she is in Heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as that was her wish. A family gathering is planned for a later date.
