Delores Lauren Phelps, age 66, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on July 9, 2024. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on January 21, 1958 to parents Charles Gordon King Sr. and Ruby Grace (Wade) King who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her son Richard Ray Eckels.
Delores is survived by her grandchildren Jaylen, Ayden, Adrian, Logan, Jacob, Millie, Ariana, and Jayden; three great-grandchildren; husband Jeffrey Wells; children Alicia Joseph, Julie Wells, Clara Eaton, and Jeffrey Craig Wells; siblings Charles Gordon King Jr., Anita King, and Charlotte King; along with a host of extended family and many friends.
Delores enjoyed doing puzzles and playing games on her phone. She was a very artistic and crafty person. Her family, kids, and grandkids were her life. Delores was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held for friends and family on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
