Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Delpha Seyler, age 47

Delpha Seyler, 47, of Conway, AR passed away on July 5, 2024 in Searcy, AR finally allowing herself to rest after a prolonged and severe illness. Delpha was born on May 17, 1977 in Groom, TX during a tornado.

Those who knew her know she had an effervescent personality, a love of animals, an enthusiasm for cooking and much emotional generosity, which was reflected in her career as a nurse. She often gave more affection than received and in disproportion to what was deserved. Delpha was also known for her fiery, long, red, curly hair and her equally fiery stubbornness/fierceness/resolve, depending on the recipient.

She is survived by her sisters Lynn Immesoete and Jeannie McCloskey, her cousin Laurel Carlson and her mother, Vicki Seyler.

Despite staying in the background, your loss is felt deeply. Delpha’s love and memory will always be cherished. Rest in peace.

Delpha’s memorial service will be private.

You enter d this world during a tornado. Despite knowing about your illness and it’s seriousness, your death is as shocking as a tornado as well. I remember your curly red hair and cherub cheeks when you were young that both suited your sweetness and defied your feistiness. Your spunk and care, as well as recipe referrals, will be missed. Rest in peace. I love you.

I miss you. i really miss our long conversations about everything and nothing, and I especially miss the sound of your enthusiastic, joyful laughter when I relate the latest tale of Rowan”s antics. I still find myself reaching for the phone to call you, mentally making notes of stories and tidbits of information that I think you will enjoy.and even expecting to hear your assigned ring tone.May you rest in comfort, peace, joy, unconditional love and understanding like you brought to my life and many others.

Delpha you always joined our shows even when you were in the hospital. Kay and I thought of you often. We just learned of her passing but she seemed to be a sweet lady. We enjoyed having her on our pearl shows. She even said she was in ICU. I just read her memorial and was very saddened. I never met her but will miss her.

I had both the honor and privilege of knowing and caring for Ms Delpha. She was one of my all time absolute favorite people. She regularly called me and a co-worker Hailey “wild child”. I can honestly say I don’t remember her ever being angry or in a bad mood. There were a few times I could tell she was not feeling her best, but she remains one of the sweetest people that I have ever cared for. My thoughts and prayers are with you her family, and just know that she is missed by more people than you know. I just recently found out about her passing, and wished to express my deepest condolences on your loss.
