Jerry William Sawrie, age 80

Jerry William Sawrie, 80, of Russellville, Arkansas passed away on July 8, 2024. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 11, 1943, to the late Richard and Imogene Sawrie.

Jerry proudly served in the US Navy. He enjoyed working in the yard and traveling.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers Richard Alvin “Rick” Sawrie and Charles Melvin Sawrie.

Jerry is survived by his wife Teresa Sawrie; his siblings Betty Platt (Michael), Barbara Thalheimer (Bruce), and Martha Stephenson; his best friend Roger Archie; his brother-in-law Woodrow Barrett; sister-in-law Tracey Baldwin (John); and his extended family and many friends.

Jerry’s wishes were to be cremated and have his urn placed in the Rosebud cemetery at a later date.
