Our Beautiful, Sweet Mother is from now on with God. She was a very sweet person, unless you did her wrong, then look out. Mostly, she was generous with what she had, if you needed something, even a place to live, she was always there to take you in. She would definitely speak her mind, but mostly she loved everyone, and everyone loved her. Her favorite pastime was going to the casino, she loved it. When we would go, she would always win at the least $500.00 which she always shared. She wanted to go one more time, but never made it. Now she is singing with the angels, where she belongs. She was a very creative person, she was an artist, mechanic, carpenter, and she figured out things without any degree, or education of what she was doing. This was very impressive to us. She was very independent and strong willed. A quote from Woody, “Nanny would have fixed it herself without my help”. This was a true statement! We miss her very much, and we know we will see her again.

A family-hosted Memorial Service will be held on October 5, 2024, at the Family Worship Center at 2:00 PM. in Des Arc, AR. EVERONE IS INVITED. Please come if you can.

I am leaving you with a beautiful poem written for our mother, by our good friend, Sharon Kaye Ballard Ford, of Conway, AR.

The Hidden Lady:

The Lady was proud of everything she did.

She walked in the shadows of secrets untold.

She feared no one, and, told them so.

When she really had a heart of Gold.

The hidden lady is free at last.

Her secrets left all in the past.

So, walk free My Lady in the sweet clean air.

Be free My Lady in GOD’s gracious care.

Amen!

Thank You, Sharon Ballard Ford
