Bradley Wayne Tolbert, age 48, a resident of Monticello, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, following a battle with brain cancer surrounded by family. He was born August 26, 1975, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, the son of Jerry Wayne and Wanda Jo (Kerr) Tolbert.
Bradley received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 1997, and a Master of Arts from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2000. He was a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist as well as Campus Minister for UAM and served as a fill-in minister whenever needed among the churches of Christ in SE Arkansas, predominantly in his hometown of DeWitt, AR. He was married to the love of his life, Amanda Christine (Riddle) Tolbert for twenty-seven years.
He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Jo (Kerr) Tolbert.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Christine Tolbert of Monticello, AR; two sons Joshua Carroll and Daniel Wayne Tolbert of Monticello, Arkansas; his father Jerry Wayne Tolbert of De Witt, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Keith Wesley and Kristi Ann Tolbert of North Port, Florida and their children Kyla Faith, Kaden Troy, and Karter Jo Tolbert; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rebecca Jo and James Brent Wilson of Bryant, Arkansas, and their children Stormy Haven and Oakley Willow Wilson; and Amanda Beth and James Madison Loetscher of Benton, Arkansas.
A family-hosted memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Monticello church of Christ – Highway 425 North, Monticello, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bradley Tolbert Memorial Fund for the children and final expenses at Union Bank & Trust, P.O. Box 270, Monticello, Arkansas 71657.
