Frances Bell Hudson, age 79

Frances Bell Hudson, 79, of Little Rock passed away Monday, August 19, 2024.  She was born June 28, 1945, near Wynne in Cross County, Arkansas, to Joe and Sarah Holley Hudson.

Frances loved gardening, sewing, and any other project she could dig her hands and heart into.

She is survived by her five living children; William Wright (Jeanine), Kathy Williams (Cleon), Gene Wright, Debbie Grimmett (Doyle), and Teresa Chapman (Dan); sister, Edna Hudson; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous extended and adopted family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hudson, her daughter, Sarah Rankin, her parents, her sister, Fronie Henderson, and her brother, Buddy Hudson.

The children would like to extend their love and thanks to all who have messaged, called, and been by their side during her illness.  They would also like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and The Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Good Shepherd staff for their loving care during this time.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.   Interment will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery later as well.
