Karen Renee Hood, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, departed this life on August 17, 2024.
Karen found joy in tending her flower beds, dancing to her favorite music, and sharing time with her family, especially her grandbabies. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love.
She is survived by her daughters Kasey Orellana and Amanda Lee, grandchildren Teagan, Jay, and Laila Orellana, boyfriend John Little, parents Anna Batastini and James Hood, stepmother Sharon Hood, brother James Edward Hood, and nieces Ashley Dacus Webb, Shelby Dacus Callahan, and Brandy Bledsoe.
She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Shelton.
Karen’s memory will live on in all the laughter and love she shared with friends and family.

To Karen’s family, I am so sorry you are going through this. I hope you can find peace and comfort in knowing you have the chance to see your loved one again. “There is going to be a resurrection”. (Acts 24:15) What a wonderful time this will be!
