Papaw Ray was the kindest, most loving soul I’ve ever met. He always had a smile on his face and he and Mamaw Arlene were the best grandparents ever. They were always so supportive and involved with their grandchildren’s lives. I had never seen such giving grandparents. Sending my condolences to Mamaw Arlene, David and the grandchildren. You were so blessed to have such a special man who was always such an example of what a man of God is. He is now where he lived his life to be, with his Heavenly Father. I am so glad I had the opportunity to know him.
My brother Ray was such a precious part of our family. The oldest of seven children, he always set a shining example for his siblings to follow.I am honored to be his sister.
One of God’s most humble servants. He will be missed.
