Paul N. Fox
December 22, 1940 – August 14, 2024
Paul N. Fox — an unconventional life, well-lived and by his own rules. Born on December 22, 1940, in Kingsport, TN, Paul was best described as a “character”—someone everyone liked.
Paul had a passion for race cars and loved building hot rods. He and his wife, Judy, were active participants in CAMS (Central Arkansas Muscle Cars and Street Rods) which brought them much joy, especially the car show they helped organize at the Veterans Hospital. His quick thinking as a bank manager led to a heroic moment in 1972 when he caught bank robbers in Bloomingdale, Kingsport, TN, making him a local legend. His many exploits, adventures and sense of humor endeared him to many.
He spent many years working for Heritage Publishing in Sherwood, AR, where he met and made lifelong friends and a special relationship with Lee Keenihan and Sandra Franecke. He is survived by his wife and partner of more than 40 years, Judy Holt; daughter, Donna Fox (Jim Dixon) of Niceville, FL; and son, Gary Fox (Kim Teems) of Chattanooga, TN. Paul was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremiah Shane Culbreth.
A special thank you to Jodie Hartman and Shannon Sneed who became family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 3 p.m. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral & Crematory, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.
Paul’s legacy will live on… He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
