Jerry Wayne Mallett, 76, passed away on August 29, 2024 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jerry was born October 3, 1947 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Alton Mallett and Viva (Harris) Mallett. Jerry was a resident of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne. His military specialty was utility helicopter repair, and he was a multichannel communications operator for 5 years and 7 months. Jerry received an Aircraft Crewman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Marksman Badge M16 Rifle. Jerry went on to have his own construction business, Mallett Drywall, for 30 years.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Tammy Renee (Mallett) Raborn; his son John Garrison; his brother Ricky Mallett and two sisters Vicky Ann Mallett, Shirley Jean Mallett.
Jerry is preceded in death by his brothers Junior Mallett, Jimmy Ray Mallett, Bobby Joe Mallett, Ritchie Wayne Mallet, and a sister Linda Sue Mallett; nephews Alton Jay Mallett, Royce Lee Mallett; and best friend Cody Lane.
Jerry was a hard-working man that loved his daughter and son. He liked watching old westerns, telling old war stories, and he loved the Lord. Jerry now rests in peace after a 10-year battle with cancer. He will be missed and loved by many. We love you, Dad.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Thank you for being my dad for 17 years, a grandfather to my son. Thank you for everything you have ever done for us. We LOVE YOU more then you will ever know. I will NEVER FORGET YOU.
