Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Arlene E. Brown, age 90

Arlene E. Brown passed from this life on October 20, 2024 at the age of 90. She was born in Jackson County Arkansas on June 15, 1934 to Arlie L and Lucy P Polston.
She is preceded in death by her husband Parven Ray Brown, her parents, 4 brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her son David of Cabot, 5 sisters and one brother, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Arlene was a set-up for AT&T working for the Teletype Corporation for many years. She was devoted to all of her family in so many ways.  From helping to raise eleven brothers and sisters to her devotion to her husband, son and grandchildren, she left a legacy of love and compassion for Jesus Christ. A dedicated Christian she was always ready as a servant on His behalf. An expert knitter and great with a crochet needle, her talents blessed thousands of children through the years at Arkansas Childrens Hospital with the booties and caps she produced for them. Even as her days on Earth grew shorter she was sending Bible verses and encouraging others via text, phone, cards or personally. One of her sayings was “if it is to be, it’s up to me”, which she showed each day that she lived in the things she accomplished. This one of a kind lifetime gift from God will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 25 at 3:00 PM at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Beebe, Arkansas.
Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com
