I worked at Vann for a short time and did breakfast duty with Mr. Walker. He was a joy to be around. The kids loved him and his teachers did too. Prayers of comfort for his family.

I am sorry about your loss. Mr. Walker was the last principal I worked for in my career and one of my favorites. He was a wonderful man and great boss to work for. My prayers are with all of you during this time.

Mr.Walker will be truly missed. My sister now Prinipal Nekia Patton and I worked under him at Getwell Elementary in Memphis Tennessee. He gave my sister and I leadership roles that lead us to move forward to do great things. We both appreciated him and communicated that to him. He was truly a prompt, positive, and persistent individual that loved children. He wanted the best for his teachers and students at all times.
