Our beloved mother Freida Louise Duncan, aged 89, passed away on October 6, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on June 28, 1935 in Grandfield Oklahoma, Freida dedicated her life to her family and her community. Until the end she spoke of how she loved all of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her mother, father, brothers, sisters and other extended family members. She cherished her special friends Pam, Anita and Lysa who came to see her often.
Freida was a devoted Christian, evident in her daily life and activities. She was actively involved in The Ridge Assembly, where she also served and worshipped. Her faith was a cornerstone, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.
In her professional life, Freida was a stay-at-home mother and later managed the Youth Home store, where she was known for her caring nature and dedication. Her hobbies included raising her children, painting, and spreading the word of God, activities that brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
Freida leaves behind a loving family: her children, DeWaine (Debbie), Brian (Melissa), Tony (Missy), and Tina. As well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her presence in their lives will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband John, and her son, Bill.
