We are so sorry for your loss and are thinking of you during this time.
Dwain was a great friend on of the guys that you could go a year and see each other but when you see him again it was like you were together yesterday. He will be missed by many.
Dwain and I grew up together as favorite cousins. We would wrestle for hours. We would pull jokes.on each other. I can think of many times that we bent over laughing at each other. He was pretty cool in my eyes. Anytime I needed him, he would drop whatever he was doing and come to my rescue and I did the same for him.
It was a great shock when Danny and I found Dwain. I am so thankful Danny was there with me. I lost not only my cousin, but my best friend. He comes to me in my dreams, letting me know with a huge smile, that he is OK. He is flying with God’s Angels… Fly high Cuz… I’ve got alot good memories in my heart. I Love you Dwain. I am looking forward to seeing you again dome day…
Dwain began our relationship as my Brother in law, then he was my ex-Brother in law, he was the biological Uncle of my daughters, and then when I remarried he assumed the role of Uncle to my sons, and he and my oldest son Rafe had a really great relationship because they both loved mechanicing on various vehicles. Rafe often called Uncle Dwain for advice on something he was working on, and sometimes one or the other would go work together a vehicle, mostly Rafe’s favorite pickup. I really liked watching them because Uncle Dwain enjoyed playing the role of Uncle and teacher. It was definitely a labor of love to him and he told me many times how much he loved and enjoyed his time with our family.
Dwain Bennet was a beautiful soul, who left this world way to soon. His laugh was infectious and his desire was to help anyone he could. Rest in peace my friend, we will meet again in heaven 🙏💞
Rest in peace, Dwain. Your many friends are already missing you.
Dwain and Adele were neighbors of mine and my ex-husband, Bill, when Savannah and our daughter Erika were just little ones. We were a young couple with a toddler and baby on the way, and they took us under their wing and ended up being great friends of ours at the time. Dwain got Bill into the rodeo life of riding bareback, and we always enjoyed our dinners, visits and advice. Savannah and Erika and Billy were always playing together, later after Bill & I divorced Dwain and Bill stayed in touch throughout the years and our kids also continued to stay in touch also. Dwain was always so helpful, kind and although I had not spoken to him in several years, he will be missed. Thank you, Dwain, for always being there when we needed and thank you for all the memories during my & my families time at the little white house at the end of Wildwood Road.
