JoEllen “Jody” Cooper, 57, of Lonoke passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on March 11, 1967 to parents Bobby and Muriel Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Tony Cooper of Lonoke and daughter Amy (James) Smart of Lonoke, her 5 grandchildren, 3 sisters and 2 brothers; along with a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Words can not explain how devastated that i am. I have known jody all my adult life. She was the most caring and selfless person i know. Rest in love my friend. I will always remember are goodtimes and dancing with mom and dad.. i
