Kathy J. Hoofman, age 61, of McRae, Arkansas passed away on October 5, 2024. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 9, 1962 to parents C.J. Darby and Patsy Jean McArthur.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jeff Hoofman; grandparents Everett and Dora McArthur; Aunt Mandy Bush; Uncle Bud McArthur; Aunt Billie Curtis; Uncle James Rettig.
She is survived by four aunts Peggy Rettig, Willie Sutton, Bobbie Campbell, and Carol McArthur; sister-in-law Cheryl Walker and husband Keith Walker; along with a host of extended family and many friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00pm at Hebron Cemetery in Carlisle, Arkansas.

Aunt Kathy was one of my most favorite aunts. Although not blood I still enjoyed being with her more than my blood. Always so happy and didn’t have a bad vibe in her body. I love you aunt Kathy!
Kathy was a very special lady and lifetime friend to my sister, Wanda. I never saw her without a smile on her face and a kind word. Prayers and condolences to all her family and loved ones.
Kathy and I went to school together. We had so many sleep overs as we grew older we would still run into each otjer and catch up. Prayers for friends and family 🙏❤️
