Polly Freeman Bridge (Baker) entered her heavenly home on October 25, 2024 at the age of 94 years young in Conway, Arkansas. She was born on March 26, 1930 in Guy, Arkansas to Ernest and Hester Baker. Polly displayed a youthful energy that radiated to everyone who saw her.
She spent her early life as a homemaker raising her 2 boys, Billy and David and then went on to work for NLR Water until she retired. Early on Polly enjoyed summer days with her family at the lake, red sports cars, shopping, and trips to Branson. You would never catch her without a fresh coat of nail polish, lipstick, and a full cup of coffee. In her later years she could frequently be found on the dance floor or enjoying a good game of bean bag baseball at the Senior Center. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was the picture of fun, peace, grace, and God’s unwavering love.
Polly is preceded in death by her parents, her late husbands Alvin Freeman and Wayne Bridge, & brother Gene Baker. Left to cherish her memory forever are her two sons David (Valerie) Freeman, Billy (Kim) Freeman. Grandchildren Beau (Meagan) Freeman, Summer Freeman, and Ashley Hayes (Justin), Great-grandchildren Madison and Emalyn Freeman, and Peyton and Ellie Hayes as well as numerous other family and friends.
Polly was a spunky lady full of love and fun which was shown through her bright smile and contagious laugh. Her joy, generosity, and kindness will never be forgotten. She was and will continue to be adored by everyone who ever knew her. The family would like to extend the most sincere appreciation to the Baptist Health Hospice staff that helped to care for her in her final months.
