Robert Harold Harsch, 72, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024 in his home. Rob was born February 8, 1952 in Kalispell, MT to parents Robert “Bob” and Florence Harsch. After moving around the country while growing up – Rob lived in Montana, Washington, Nevada, California, and even Samoa – his family settled in Oklahoma. Rob graduated from Sallisaw High School in Sallisaw, OK before he went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. Rob worked as a graphic artist in central Arkansas, with the majority of his career being spent on creating advertising materials for fishing tackle. This work complimented his passion for fishing. Rob used his creativity to tie his own flies, then enjoyed wading in the Little Red River and tossing a line. Rob was a man of few words but if you listened carefully, he was also the king of one liners. Another passion was cooking or subtly sending recipes to family members and awaiting the end products. Another of his great joys were his grandchildren Alyssa and Dylan of North Little Rock, AR.
Rob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vicky (Hamon) Harsch and his daughter, Jennifer Boozer, and her husband David, of Sherwood, AR. He is also survived by his father, Bob Harsch of Van Buren, AR; his brother James “Jim” Harsch, and his wife Rita, of Van Buren, AR; his sister Patti Braun, and her husband Larry, of Claremore, OK; and his mother in law Betty Hamon of Fort Smith, AR. Rob is also survived by numerous members of his extended family.
Preceding Robert is his death was his son Ryan Harsch of Sherwood, AR and his mother Florence Harsch of Van Buren, AR. His grandparents Harold and Velma Nicholson of Las Vegas, NV also held a special place in his heart.

Great friend in Sallisaw.
Met you and Rob in 1974 in Russellville . From that day forward I hadtopay close attention to His one liners !,
He was witty and a undefinable chuckle. Even after his health declined , I didn’t hear him complain . We will miss his text and funny cartoons . RIP Rob
We are saddened of your loss so soon after Ryan, but know Rob is in a better place and pray for you and Jennifer and the grandkids.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. ❤️🙏
