
Shelly Lynn Thomason (September 11, 1967 – October 12, 2024)
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Shelly Lynn Thomason, lovingly known as “Bud Light Shelly.” Her bright light extinguished on October 12, 2024, at 57.
Shelly is preceded in death by her father Harley Thomason; her mother Gloria; her brother Shannon Thomason; and her sister Cindy Crews Howie.
Shelly is survived by her son Harley Cole Thomason (her pride and Joy); her brother-in-law Jeff Howie; her nephews Justin, Matt, Jacob, and Caleb; her nieces Megan, Bethany, and Alli Crews.
Shelly’s infectious laughter, generous heart, and unforgettable presence will forever be etched in the memories of her family, friends, and community. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, and her love will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her.
A family hosted Celebration of her life service will be held Sunday October 20, 2024, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Rock City Yacht Club.
Rest in peace, dear Shelly. Your love and light will never fade.

Shelly, Shelly, Shelly. You and Mel were the first people to welcome me in the office on day shift. It was always a pleasure working with you. Your humor, wit, and knowledge was unmatched. And you LOVED your boy. You would rarely refer to him as Cole. It was always “my boy” and I loved it.
