Christy Lynett Meeks, 51, of Conway joined our Father in Heaven on October 29, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1973 to mother Teresa (Vestal) Smith and Randy Covington.
Christy was passionate about her family, cooking and being a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. She enjoyed jamming out to classic rock, watching NASCAR, spending time with her family and friends and spoiling her fur baby George. She also had a bit of a green thumb. She was a wonderful and loving mother and wife. Christy was a passionate person who loved hard and laughed harder.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years Michael Meeks, her five children son Joshua Meeks (wife Lauren), daughter Hayley Meeks, son Michael William Meeks, daughter Isabella Uptain, and son Bailey Meeks (wife Carly), her sister Carol Loyed (husband Jason), her mother Teresa Smith, four beautiful grandchildren Boston Clift, Hadley Meeks, Emma Meeks, and Beau Meeks along with many more close family and friends. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Bob and Mary Vestal, paternal grandparents Alfred and Georgia Covington and cousin Christian McLemore.
Christy and her quick wit, loving nature and goofy laugh will be missed greatly. Her family finds comfort in the fact that she is at peace in Heaven watching over them. From her family and those closest to her: We would like to thank everyone that helped care for Christy near the end of her days through Hospice Home Care and Superior Care. David, Whitney, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Felicia, Courtney and many more from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your kindness and support through this difficult time. We love you Christy, forever and fifty days.
Family-hosted memorial services will be held on Saturday November 9th at 2:00pm at Zion Baptist Church, 4 Thomas Lane in Conway, Arkansas.
