David Yandell, aged 58, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024, at BHR Hunting Club. He was born on January 12, 1966, in Jacksonville, AR, to Lee and Theresa Yandell. He was a proud Cabot panther being part of the Class of 1984. He married Stacy on October 4, 1985, in Austin, AR. He worked as a registered land surveyor and senior designer with Garver, dedicating 35 years to the company. David was an avid Cabot Panthers and Arkansas Razorbacks fan. He enjoyed music and played in the community band. But his family and hunting were his two biggest passions.
David is preceded in death by his father, Lee and mother, Theresa. David is survived by his wife, Stacy; an older brother, Tommy; an older sister, Laura (Scott) Patterson; his sons, Steven (Brittany), Matthew (Melissa), and Nathan (Rebecca); and grandchildren, Lincoln, Eden, and Mason; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends, and others are invited to the visitation at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 W Main St, Jacksonville, AR, from 6-8 pm on November 7, to reminisce and honor the life of David. A funeral service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, 14717 AR Hwy 5, Cabot, AR, on November 8 at 10 am followed by a graveside service at the Sixteenth Section Cemetery.

Stacy, so so sorry to read this obituary. Makes my heart hurt at the thoughts of you losing your husband. I have walked in these shoes. Lean on your Lord and your family, it will be easier with time.
David was a loyal and much appreciated member of our NLR Community Band, and I will miss his hard work and dedication. He was always my strong helper when loading up after the performance. Our next concert will be dedicated to his memory. May light perpetual shine on David. Prayers for you all.
