Sandra L. Whiteside Sansing, age 68, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on November 12, 2024. She was born on April 30, 1956.
Sandra was raised to be a good girl and lead a quiet life. She met her husband Terry on a blind date for his 21st birthday, and they married nine months later in the base chapel. Nine months after that, they found out she was pregnant with their first son, Sandy. Sandra quit her job and was a stay-at-home mom for the next ten years. Their second son Terry L. was born August 1985. Once both boys were in elementary school, she returned to the workforce. Sandra worked at Pinewood Elementary as a registrar and bookkeeper until her retirement in June 2015. She was an avid motorcyclist, riding with “her boys” and often rode her Honda Shadow 600 to the school, delighting the students. Her husband took care of her for 10 years with periodic part-time help and hospice assistance as her disease progressed.
Sandra is preceded in death by her mother Louise Whiteside and her nephew Timothy Sieger.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Terry A. Sansing of Jacksonville, AR; two sons Sandy Allen Sansing (April) of St. Charles, MO and Terry Lynn Sansing of Jacksonville, AR; her father Johnie W. Whiteside of Jacksonville, AR; one sister Glenda Sieger (Robert) of Oklahoma City, OK; and one niece Melanie Meinhardt (Jason) of Oklahoma City, OK.

We are so very sorry for your loss🥺
I’ve never known a kinder, stronger family than the Sansings. My heart is with you all. May you find comfort and joy in the memories you hold and pass on to others.
Condolences 💐& Rest In Peace Sweet Cousin Sandra. Thank you for being such a wonderful cousin & friend when my brothers & I joined the Stricklin family. My favorite memories with you & Glenda were when your Mom & Dad would bring you guys to visit the family farm during the summer holidays. The best part of the summer was the year when you had gotten your drivers license & took all of us younger cousins for a ride down the road by our grandparents house in your Volkswagen Beetle. I always think of you as my cool oldest cousin since that fun day! Prayers & love 💕 to your husband Terry, your sons Sandy & Terry, your father Uncle Johnnie, your sister Glenda & the rest of the family during this difficult time. Tell everyone hi & give them a hug from me when you get through those Pearly Gates. Love 💕 always, your Cousin Colleen.
Our hearts and prayers are with your family.
Rest in peace dear Cousin. 🙏❤️
Always & Forever in my heart, Sandra! Praying for Terry, Sandy A. & Terry L for comfort & peace from our Lord & Saviour! I promise to keep your memory alive! Give Mom & Timothy a HUGE hug from me. With love forever, your Sister!
Mr. Terry you took such good care of her. Mrs. Sandra was always so kind to me when I’d see her at City Hall. Sending all my love and prayers.
So sorry for your loss.
I lost touch with Sandy for many years and have only learned of her passing. She and I were in high school together. She was always strong and kind. My heartfelt condolences to Terry and family
