William “Billy” Dowd of Lonoke, AR, went to his heavenly home on November 3, 2024. He was born November 17, 1958, to the late Joanna Hart and Louis Cook, in Albany, New York, later adopted by James L. Dowd.
Left to cherish his memory a wife, Linda; a son, Joseph William Dowd, of Nolanville, TX; a grandson Mason and granddaughter Mikalah of El Paso, TX; a brother Tim Dowd (Chona), of VA; one Aunt and several cousins in PA and VA.
Billy served his country in the US Air Force after graduating high school. He later became a local truck driver before becoming disabled. He was a long time member of Moose Lodge #942 in North Little Rock. He enjoyed sports when he was young, later becoming an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, and was a life-long fan of the Washington Commanders.
