Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Audra Jan Payne, age 27

In Loving Memory of Audra Jan Payne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Audra Jan Payne, age 27, on December 6, 2024, at Conway Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Audra was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, friend, and cherished family member to many.

Audra was born on October 14, 1997, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Melissa Manis and Randy Hutchison. She was later adopted by Brandi Bowers and Tommy Payne, who loved her as their own. Audra attended Springdale High School and worked as a server at IHOP and Cheddar’s, where she touched the lives of many with her vibrant personality.

Audra’s faith was an important part of her life. She recently attended New Life Church, where she was baptized and gave her heart to Jesus. She found great joy in spending time with her children, singing, dancing, and working on puzzles, always bringing her special energy to everything she did.

Audra will be remembered for her spunky, feisty spirit, and her warm, giving heart. Her blunt honesty and strong personality were only matched by her love for her children. Audra’s love for life was evident in the simple pleasures she enjoyed, from her favorite meals of green beans, mashed potatoes with fried chicken, to the deep, unconditional love she gave to her children, which will always be her greatest legacy.

Audra was preceded in death by her mother, Melissa Manis. She is survived by her adoptive parents, Brandi and Dallas Bowers, and Tommy Payne. Her children, who were the light of her life, include sweet baby Gabriel, beautifully made Mariah, spunky little Jaiden, full-of-energy Karter, and cuddle bug Loyalty.

Audra is also survived by her siblings: sisters Victoria Hutchison (husband Garret Wendel), Kiley Brooks; brothers Lance Payne, Malik Brooks Jr., Roy Davis (wife Jordan Davis), Tony Davis (wife Victoria Davis), Josiah Davis, and Malachi Hutchison. She leaves behind beloved nephews Easton Grady Kane, Beau Braxton Davis, and Ryder Lee Davis, as well as nieces Paisleigh Mae Wendel and Rainie Lynn Davis. She will be deeply missed by her loving grandparents and all of her extended family and friends.

Audra’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her children and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will never be forgotten, and her love will continue to surround us all.

Family-hosted memorial service will be Monday, December 16, 2024 at 10:00am at New Life Church; 8000 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, AR 72118.

I haven’t seen Audra since she was a little girl, but she was funny and sweet and I am thinking of the family who will miss her.
