Cynthia Louise Spitler, age 67

Cynthia Louise Spitler (67 years young), of Higden, AR. Cindy was born in Flint MI on February 12, 1957; she departed this world on November 22, 2024, when in the quite of the night, angels ushered her to heaven.

Cindy is now with Jesus and her heavenly father. Also there to greet her are her father L.H. Owens, her mother Verdie Louise Menton; granddaughter Ashley Long, grandson Jay Vime, brothers Jimmy Owens, Steve Owens, Phillip Owens, and Jeff Owens.

Left behind are her husband of 46 years, Richard Spitler; together they lived and raised their five children in Jacksonville, AR. In 2021 then moved to Higden, AR. Her family describes Cindy as fun loving. When she had free time she enjoyed fishing with her husband, arts & crafts, yard sales, playing bingo and going to the casinos. Mostly, she dearly loved her family!

Children: Charles Nelson Spitler of Jacksonville, AR; Sheri Stringfellow of Heber Springs, AR; Pamela Davis and her husband Chuck of Jacksonville, AR; Teresa Hatcher and her husband Neil of Butlerville, AR; Rick Spitler and his wife Samentha of Wichita, KS.

Grandchildren; Kenny Hall of Jacksonville, AR;  Seth Spitler of Jacksonville, AR;  Ray Allen Murry of Beebe, AR;   Steven Murry of Jacksonville, AR;  Michael Davis of Sherwood, AR;  Kaye Lynn Davis of McAllen, TX; John Jason Wyles of Heber Springs, AR;  Leah Hatcher of Cabot, AR;  Neil Hatcher Jr. of Harrison, AR ;  Brian Hatcher of Butlerville, AR;  Timmothy Spitler of Wichita, KS ;  Joshua Spitler of Ozark, MO;  Amilia Heslin of Wichita, KS, Cheyenne Goodman of Wichita, KS; Samuel Ruble of Denver, CO; and an abundance of great grandchildren.

Blessed with highly attentive and loving siblings; Susan Gabrion and her husband Randy of McRae, AR; Anita Allen and husband Oittis of Cherokee, Alabama; Nancy Owens of Beebe, AR; Denise Smith of Red Bay, Alabama; Christina Ring and her husband Greg of Tennessee. Gary Smith and his wife Kristy of Austin, AR; Larry Menton and his wife Faith of Conway, AR; Kim Menton of Ward, AR; and many nieces and nephews. Finally, two incredibly special friends; Kathy Clements and Debbie Moore.

    We cherish our memories of nana cause she was the light to our life and she left us with memories to hold on to and we know she is now in our hearts and we can cherish her forever we love you and we gone miss you dearly

    Cindy was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I am so blessed and thankful that i got to know her. I will miss her so much. I love you Cindy. I will always remember you.

    I’m so so sorry! I knew Cindy.when and John were just tiny little boys. She was always very sweet to me. I’m sure you and Dick are really missing her. I’m so sad for you both and Bob and I certainly send our condolences .
