Hurley Ray Bryant, 71 of Conway, AR, died at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock AR on December 12, 2024.
He was born in Little Rock in 1953 to Jonathan L. Bryant and Edna Lee Reynolds. Hurley went to school in Bryant. AR before moving to Little Rock. His junior and senior years were spent at Joe T. Robinson where he graduated in 1972. Out of high school he went to work as an electrician and joined the Army National Guard.
Hurley was preceded in death by his parents Jonathan and Edna Bryant, his brother Billy Bryant and his daughter Keri B. West.
Hurley met the love of his life Amy in 1990 through a friendship with her brother. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married in May ,1990, in Jacksonville AR.
Hurley is survived by his wife Amy Bryant, two sons Kevin (Lacey) Bryant of Little Rock, Randel (Angela) of Conway AR, two brothers, Joe Bryant of El Dorado KS, Charles Bryant, two sisters Nancy Brents of Clinton, AR and Marilyn Hunt of Cave City, AR and 11 grandchildren.
Hurley treasured his time with the grandkids and loved being their Partner, Papaw never failing to teach them about fishing, hunting, and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Hurley was a master electrician. He worked for Horton’s Electric for 13 years before starting his own business in 1993.
Hurley will always be remembered for his laughter and the way he would always strike up conversion with strangers. We couldn’t have asked for a better husband, dad, pawpaw, brother, and friend, and will miss Hurley every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
Cremation Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 W. Main Jacksonville, AR and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

My uncle hurley will be missed very much I will miss all the fun times we all had together you were my favorite uncle I’ll miss our laughing fishing trip that we took in kansas when I look at your picture all I do is cry just I do when I see my mama picture.When I eat and go fishing I will think of you.
