James Eldon McFarland, 49, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was born on October 6, 1975 to Elvis Sylvester McFarland and Mary Louise Thompson-McFarland.
He is survived by his wife Leslie of Searcy and two sons Damond (Heather)(Tracy) of Bald Knob and Harley (Shyann) of Searcy. He had 4 grandchildren James William and Jackson Dean of Pierson, Florida, Briella Marie Faith of Searcy, and Odin Maximus of Bald Knob; 2 sisters Beatrice and Ethel of Muskogee, Oklahoma and 2 brothers Jessie of Muskogee, Oklahoma and John of Bald Knob; mother Mary of Bald Knob.
He is preceded in death by his father Elvis; stepfather Ray Lyons; one brother Billy and one sister Wendy.
He was an OTR driver for 15 years and loved his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband and father. He had an overload of nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews. He would do anything for anyone that needed it. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles along with many other hobbies. He will be greatly missed by anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

I known James a few years an he was a great guy to know.i am going to miss him n his bubbly personality. When we lived on pine Street in bald knob, James came by an visited his sister n I n he sat on bed messing with me saying Terry’s no fun he just lays there n I responded you’re the one who got up n left .going to miss that .r.i.p James
