Lois Paulette Foster, age 76, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on December 10, 2024. She was born in Senath, Missouri on November 27, 1948 to parents Carroll Holt Mullins and Imogene Ruby (Honey) Richardson.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents; husband James Presley Foster; grandmother Florence Honey; and brother James Mullins.
She is survived by her children Sharon K. Lovett, Carol Dean Barnett, Thomas Edward Barnett, and Laura Jean Champlin; grandchildren Brandon Mark Barnett, Nathan Wade Lovett, Shaye Nicole Weeks, Caleb Dee Reynolds, Nathan Barnett, Blake Barnett, Morgan Barnett, Cody Barnett, Hunter Barnett, and Sierra Barnett; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings Tony Mullins, Charles Mullins (Donna), Thomas Mullins, Donald Mullins, and Kathy Ballard (Ronnie); along with a host of extended family and friends.
Lois loved being home and taking care of her house. She had a passion for cooking and loved feeding people. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and shopping. Lois was a very giving person and enjoyed making others happy. She was a mother to all, and she was very protective of her family. Above all, Lois loved taking care of her family and spending time with them. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 1:00pm with funeral service starting at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Old Austin Cemetery.
