Rebecca (Becky) Sue Kirk, 81, of Beebe, passed away December 3rd, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Becky was born June 25th, 1943 in Beebe, Arkansas to the late Alton (Bud) and Emma Carpenter. She grew up in a loving family alongside her siblings whom she dearly loved and remained close to throughout her life.
Becky graduated from Beebe High School in 1961.
Becky worked for Franklin Electric for many years. She then began working for Rebsamen Hospital where she retired.
Becky’s proudest achievement was her four children. She was a devoted, loving, hardworking mother who was always there for her children. As her family grew to later include grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, she continued to stay just as devoted to her family. The love, kindness, and resilience she taught us all will never be forgotten.
Becky is survived by her son John (Melinda) Kirk, daughter Laura (Bill) Glover, son Jerry (Pam) Kirk, 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her best friend Brenda.
Becky is preceded in death by her parents Alton (Bud) and Emma Carpenter, brothers Don and Gary Carpenter, Sister Sherlon Blount, son Thomas (Mike) Kirk, granddaughter Brittany Kirk and great-grandson Kaiden Kirk.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00pm with funeral service starting at 2:00pm at First Nazarene Church; 104 Campground Road, Beebe, Arkansas 72012. Burial at Antioch Cemetery on Hwy 31 North in Beebe, Arkansas.
