Richard “Dickie” Stephen Hibbs Sr, age 74

Richard “Dickie” Stephen Hibbs Sr. passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024. He was born on June 12, 1950 in Jacksonville, Arkansas and remained there his entire life.

He is preceded in death by his father Albert Ray Hibbs; mother Bettie Ruth Hibbs; and three brothers Larry Ray Hibbs, Gary A. Hibbs, and Glen A. Hibbs.

He is survived by two sons Richard S. Hibbs Jr. and Gary A. Hibbs. He is also survived by two grandchildren Marie (Taylor) Brown and Matthew Brown; one brother Timothy D. Hibbs and two sisters Donna L. (Hibbs) Rose and Susan A. (Hibbs) Pope.

Dickie was loved by his family and will be missed.

    So very sorry to hear of Dickie’s passing. We were as close as brothers in high school. We had some adventures to be sure. I know he will be missed.

    Dickie was like a brother to me for over 40 years. He was a great father, brother , son and friend to all. I send my love and prayers to his entire family. May you rest in peace my true friend.
