Rickey Dale Rowland, age 59, of Tuckerman, Arkansas passed away on November 27, 2024 at Unity Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born on February 25, 1965 in Newport, Arkansas.
Rickey is survived by three daughters, Amanda Kay Daniels (Hunter) of Tuckerman, Sara Kay Miles (Craig) of Tuckerman, and Haley Michelle Rowland of Newport; three grandchildren, Kraigan Miles, Ezekiel Miles, and Slayde Daniels; one sister, Shawn Reid of Floral; best friend Eddie Nagel of Tuckerman; special cousins Bryan Carter (Dan Moore) of Judsonia, Blake Rowland (Lisa) of Vilonia; ex-wife Michelle Rowland; along with a host of loving family members and a lifetime of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Dale Rowland and Marietta Thompson (Carter).
Rickey graduated from Tuckerman High School in 1983. He was the founder of the Valiant Arena in Tuckerman, Arkansas and de-regulated Professional Wrestling in Arkansas. Rickey loved his daughters and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He volunteered at the local food pantry where he helped with the community garden. Rickey was always ready to help someone in need. He didn’t hesitate to hold fundraisers to help anyone who needed it.
Rickey never met a stranger and greeted everyone he knew with a big hug. He loved listening to rock and roll, especially KISS. He also loved tinkering with and fixing thing; anything from bicycles to Harley’s to cars – especially his ’55 Chevy. Rickey had a passion for drag racing in his younger years, as well as drawing. He was a very talented artist. He designed the logo for the Trails to Tuckerman Historical Society.
A family-hosted celebration of life will be held December 15, 2024 from 4:00-7:00pm at The World Famous Valiant Arena in Tuckerman, Arkansas.
