It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Timothy Michael Sooter. “Tim” was born on June 17, 1963 in LR, Arkansas. His siblings knew him as “Timmy” but his friends called him Tim.
Tim was born into a world of racing hot rods. Tim followed his father’s footsteps throughout his younger years and as a young adult. He built transmissions with his father for several years. He also was part of his father’s racing team racing the quarter mile dragstrip in Carlisle, Arkansas. After cars they went to jet boats. Timmy really found his passion with racing boats. He set a record at one of the boat races driving Second Pleasure 209 MPH. He later relocated to Conway and worked at Delta Transmission and he worked at B&B Auto for around 27 years.
Tim is preceded in death by his father, Max Sooter, mother, Pat Teal, his grandparents Mr. And Mrs. Eurline and Thomas Sooter. and his step-brother, Bobby Joe Griffin.
Tim is survived by his son, Brandon Sooter, his granddaughter, Brooklyn Sooter, his aunts, Linda Ring (Jim), and Patty Pearce and sister, Tommie Maxine Gordon, and step-sister, Deanna Kelley (Karry).

Oh the stories I could tell, especially because I was the little sister. I will never forget riding with Timmy in his red Barracuda, we were coming home crossing the Ark river bridge on I430. We must have been going 150 mph it was crazy fast. Probably why I was a lead foot in my Ole Malibu. Say hi to Bobby for me Timmy, we love and miss you now and forever
