Virginia Sue Branham, age 72

It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia Sue Branham announce her sudden passing into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 72.

Sue was born in Bakersfield, California in 1951 to Andrew Jackson Williams and Martha Manes Williams.

While working at Dantan Factory in Dumas, Arkansas she met her husband Jerry Dean Branham. They married on March 31, 1972. They welcomed their daughter Mandy in 1973 and son Curry in 1976. She lived the majority of her life in her husband’s hometown of Gillett, Arkansas. Sue spent many years as a Gillett Public School “lunch lady”.  She went on to work and retire from Lennox Industries in Stuttgart. Sue’s passion was her three granddaughters. She loved attending their activities, especially their sporting events.

She will be missed by her husband of 52 years Jerry. Her two children Mandy (Eric) Ryan and Curry (Kim) Branham. Three granddaughters Regan (Landon) Smith, Aydan Branham, Everly Branham and one great grandson Ledger Smith. She was also survived by four sisters Peggy Sullivan, Nancy Brown, Penny McCarty, Andrea Goins, and two brothers Larry Williams and Dale Williams.

Sue was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Martha.

Per Sue, a memorial will be held at the time of the passing of her husband.
