David Edward Harkey, age 60, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on January 6, 2025. He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on June 29, 1964 to parents Henry Nolan Harkey and Mary Lou (Seats) Lauderdale.
David is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Mary and John Lauderdale.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Harkey, daughter Leslie Harkey, father and stepmother Henry and Joanne Harkey, three grandchildren, four siblings, and a host of extended family and many friends.
David worked at Jackson Cookie Company for 21 years before working at J&M Foods as a plant manager for 22 years. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting John Deere two-cylinder tractors. He was a member of the Central Arkansas Two Cylinder Club, and he was the President of the Pinewood Hunting Club in Bradley County.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
