Joshua Wade Major, 36, was born on December 30th of 1988. His unfortunate passing was on January 8th of 2025.
Joshua was survived by his beloved wife, Brianna Major; five beautiful children, Cameron, Skylar, Payton, Bentley and Kal-El; devoted mother; Kristine Snyder; dedicated step father Anthony Snyder; five loving brothers, Todd, Lanny, Michael, Anthony and Aaron; his best furry friend, Mika Major; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Major; paternal grandfather, Lanny Major; paternal grandmother, Pearlavone Major; maternal grandfather, Leland Howell; maternal grandmother, Genane Howell; and his maternal grandmother, Kathy Howell.
Joshua enlisted in the Army at the young age of 17, where he served six years as a military police officer and the other six years as a courageous infantry man. Joshua sacrificed everything for our country, showed great leadership, guided and trained several soldiers, upon receiving many awards, as well as being presented with a Purple Heart. Joshua was a dedicated father and husband. He devoted his life to his family. There was never a dull moment with Joshua around, only smiles and laughs. He was a protector. Joshua loved to golf and go shooting. He loved playing video games and watching movies with his family and friends. He loved his music just as much. He welcomed just about anybody with open arms. Joshua is a soul we will always remember and miss dearly.
Celebration of life service will be at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas on January 16th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
