Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Harold Douglas Woodward II, age 69

Harold Douglas Woodward II, of Searcy, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the age of 69. Born December 6, 1955, in Sylvan Hills, he is survived by his three children, Brana Renee Woodward of Rose Bud, Harold Douglas “Woody” Woodward III (Nita) of Clarksville, and Olivia Marie Stroud of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Gypsy and Gabriel Woodward of Fresno, California, and Godric Woodward of Clarksville; a sister, Laura Gold (Allan) of Little Rock and his brother and sister in Christ, Michael and Tricia Davidson of North Little Rock.

Doug was deeply cherished by his family and friends, and enjoyed sharing time with them and making them laugh with his contagious sense of humor. A talented mechanic, Doug was happiest helping his fellow Volkswagen Beetle owners fine tune their cars. When he wasn’t turning wrenches, he loved to feel the wind in his hair while riding anything with two wheels.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Douglas Woodward; mother, Virginia “Jean” Woodward; and sister, Nancy Kay (Woodward) Dreher.

Visitation is planned for Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hickory Plains Cemetery in Des Arc.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com
