My condolences to Amy and the rest of James’ family. My first solid memory of James dates back to the mid ‘90s. He and I were first in at a mobile home fire that was really going. He was leading as my foot fell through the floor and got stuck. Not to worry, James had enough draft-horse strength that all I had to do was hang on to the hose and he pulled me right out. As we progressed, we thought we found a trapped infant that turned out to be a baby doll that moved every time we did. James had a heart that felt joy when others did and felt pain when others felt pain. I will continue to miss our gun talks and military banter. My prayers to all of you, his family, for quick healing over your loss. Phil
