John Franklin McClellan Jr. age 70 of Cabot Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 23, 1954 in Dayton Ohio. He attended twin Valley South high school. He served in the Air Force for 20 years and was a veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Mae McClellan, father John Franklin McClellan Sr., and sister Pamela Sue Gonzalez.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 52 years Ronda McClellan of Cabot, Arkansas; sons John Keith McClellan and Brian Scott McClellan both of Cabot; eight grandchildren John Luke McClellan (Kaitlin), Megan Lockeby (Luke), Cynthia McClellan, Tyler Johnsen, Torrance Johnsen, Amelia McClellan, Rylee Jo McClellan, Everlee McClellan; six great grandchildren Maci, Jessi, Bow, Jamison, Audri, and Mason; Sister Melissa Conley (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Zion Hill Baptist Church at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 24, 2025 followed by funeral service at 2:00 pm with Michael Luce officiating. Burial will follow at Sumner Cemetery on Sumner Cemetery Road in Cabot.

So sorry for your loss. Buddy as we knew him.were first cousin. We went to school together at Twin Valley South. He was a really nice guy. I knew he lived in Arkansas I just didn’t know where. We lived in Mountain Home since 1986. Sure would have loved to have seen him. Your family is in our prayers.
